Anke Gladnick is an illustrator who grew up in California and somehow found their way to Portland, Oregon. Through a mix of collaged analog and digital elements, Anke’s work is both visually and conceptually layered with a focus on the surreal and is inspired by dreams, nostalgia, and a sense of poignancy.
Anke graduated from the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Spring, 2018 with a B.F.A in Illustration, attended the Illustration Academy in Kansas City in the Summer of 2017 and 2018, and was a mentee in the illustration track of Visual Arts Passage from Fall of 2017 until Fall of 2018 under acclaimed illustrator Edward Kinsella III.
