Anke Gladnick is an illustrator who grew up in California and somehow found their way to Portland, Oregon. Through a mix of collaged analog and digital elements, Anke’s work is both visually and conceptually layered with a focus on the surreal, and is inspired by dreams, nostalgia, and musings around identity.
Anke graduated from Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, OR in Spring, 2018 with a B.F.A in Illustration, attended the Illustration Academy in Kansas City in the summer of 2017 and 2018, and was a mentee in the illustration track of Visual Arts Passage since fall of 2017.
